Study on the Application Situation and Development of Radio Frequency Identification Technology in the Field of Parking Lot Management from Patents Perspective

Taking as an analysis sample Chinese patent data from 1985 to 2018 in the field of parking lot management based on radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, this study provides an analysis of Chinese patents on some aspects including annual application trend, applicant type structure, regional layout structure, technology constitution and its trend. The study shows the application situation and competition pattern of RFID in the field of parking management, and clarifies technology development direction and research hotspots, to provide reference and guidance for Chinese enterprises in technological innovation and patent portfolio planning.
