英语“名词＋ly”类形容词的词化分析

本文运用词化理论和语义成分分析法，着重探讨英语“名词＋ly”类形容词的词化模式、词化能力和词化特征。研究发现：（1）英语“名词＋ly”类形容词的词化模式可概括为“名词＋特征＋X”；（2）各首位语义成分的词化能力不等，按“人物名词＋ly”词化模式整合而成形容词的词化能力最强，其次分别是“时间名词＋ly”类形容词，“物质名词＋ly”类形容词，“其他名词＋ly”类形容词，“状态名词＋ly”类形容词和“动物名词＋ly”；（3）英语“名词＋ly”类形容词表示名词词根所反映的基本特征，在词化过程中词义有所延伸，但极少存在“隐喻死亡”现象。

Lexicalization of "N+LY" English Adjactives

From the perspective of Lexicalization and Semantic Components Analysis,the paper attempts to investigate three issues of the English"noun ly"type adjectives: lexicalization patterns,lexicalization capability,and lexicalization features.It finds that:(1)the English "noun ly" type adjectives follow the lexicalization pattern of"noun features X";(2)there are differences in the lexicalization capability among the initial semantic components of the English "noun ly" type adjectives;"human noun ly" type adjectives have the most powerful lexicalization capability,followed by"time noun ly"type adjectives,"substance noun ly" type adjectives,"other noun ly" type adjectives,"state noun ly"type adjectives and "animal noun ly" type adjectives;(3)the English "noun ly" type adjectives reflect the primary features of noun stems,and have semantic extension in the process of lexicalization,but there is no "Transferring Conceptualization of Death".
