道德应用的路径和方法问题是道德教育最大的问题,价值观的应用又是道德应用中最大的问题.从审美的角度进行公民道德教育是社会主义核心价值观教育的路径之一.公民道德审美教育有其可能性和必要性,缺乏审美性道德建构活动的传统公民道德教育模式、官德形象审美价值缺失、新媒介呈现的芜杂道德局面及“托底”制度的缺失是公民道德审美教育所面临的困境,需要从建构公民道德教育体系、加强“官德之美”建设、完善互联网治理体系及制度设计等各方面入手解决.
