| Abstract: | Idioms van be found in both Chinese and English languages.The existence of idioms is not only a language phenomenon,but also a cultural phenomenon since a lot of idioms contain and reflect certain cultural information.Due to the great differences between Chinese and English cultures,the translation of English idioms seems more troublesome than other language components. |
