| Abstract: | The tertiary sector. expecially the producer service sector. is becoming the main impetus of driving thd development of urban economy and will inevitably have great impact on urban spatial structure. This paper initially traces the process of development and change of the tertiary sector of Guangzhou. before turning to identifying the characteristics of its spatial distribution. Then the reasons for the spatial pattern of the tertiary sector are analysed. Finally. a short conclusion is made and the role of the producer services in .Guangzhou development.and the spatial transformation of the tertiary sector and land use are discussed. |
