Analysis on Mechanism for Cultivating Competitiveness in the Pearl River Delta

In face of drastic changes in both domestic and export markets,the manufacturing industry in the Pearl River Delta is confronted by unprecedented challenges,which makes the government have initiated the policy of upgrading the industrial structure which so far achieves much less than expected.The solution to the development of local manufacturing sector is to upgrade the current industry locally instead of upgrading the industrial structure hurriedly,which means to grasp the opportunity of the transfer of the producer services from Hongkong to the Pearl River Delta to push the growth of local producer services so that the road can be paved for the development of manufacturing industry and the foundation can be built for development of the third industry in the Pearl River Delta.
