江苏省服务业就业增长原因的实证研究

文章基于偏离-份额模型,以长三角为参照区,以就业人员为变量,对2004-2011年江苏省服务业14个部门就业增长原因进行实证分析。结果显示:城镇单位与私营单位就业增长偏离结果对比强烈,私营单位成为拉动江苏省服务业就业增长的主要力量;竞争优势对私营单位就业的贡献大于结构优势,生产性服务业成为其最有增长潜力的服务类别;城镇单位的竞争优势和结构优势都不显著。相比而言,社会性服务业和生产性服务业是促进就业增长的关键。

A Study of the Employment Growth Factors of the Service Sector in Jiangsu Province Based on Shift-Share Model

Employing the shift-share model, taking the Yangtze River Delta region as reference, and utilizing the number of people employed as variables, this paper empirically analyzes the employment growth factors of service industry with 14 units involved in Jiangsu Province from 2004 to 2011. The results of the analysis show that the employment growth of urban service sector units constitutes a sharp contrast to that of the private ones, which actually turn out to be the main force to push the employment growth of Jiangsu service industry; that the competitiveness of private businesses rather than structural advantage contributes more to employment growth and manufacturing services have great growth potential; that the competitive and structural advantages of state- owned and collective service industry businesses are not prominent, and that manufacturing services and social services are the key to promoting service employment growth.
