Research Advances in the Indicative Function Soil Fauna to Environment in China

Soil fauna is closely related to environment,and it can serve as an indicative factor of marking environmental quality to reflect the condition of the environmental quality,the species,number of individuals,biomass,composition structure of soil fauna,etc.Many researchers explored the relationship between soil fauna and environment at home,which mainly focused on soil environmental quality,vegetation conditions,pollutants,etc.The results showed that the species and number of soil fauna were positively related to soil nutrient content in general,but were positively related to soil water content in a certain range and the content of heavy metal in soil,fertilizer and pesticide pollution.Soil fauna was significantly related to the factor of soil texture,pH and so on.It was the important index of land use,vegetation restoration and reconstruction.
