浅析境内外美元利率的提高对人民币汇率的影响

在我国中央银行连续 7次降息的同时 ,美国中央银行却 6度提高利率。针对国际金融市场美元利率持续走高的情况 ,经中国人民银行批准 ,我国中资金融机构从 2 0 0 0年 5月 2 9日起也上调了境内的美元利率 ,这有利于人民币汇率的稳定 ,避免逃、套汇的发生。尽管人民币与美元的利差扩大 ,但今后一段时间内人民币汇率稳定的趋势不会改变。

A Brief Analysis of Impact on the US Dollar’s Interest Rate Raisingto the RMB Interest Rate

The Central Bank of America raises its interest rate 6 times,while the Central Bank of China drops it 7 times continuously.According to the continuous elevating of the US dollar in the international financial market,the Chinese financial institutions have moved up its US dollar interest rate within the country since May 29,2000,which has reduced the interest balance inside the country and abroad and avoided obtaining large sums of foreign exchange without state authorization.Though the interest balance is enlarging between the RMB and the US dollar,the RMB exchange rate will be stable in the expected future.
