The Review and Prospect of the Domestic and Foreign Research on Urban Competitiveness

With the development of economic globalization and integration of regional economics of the world,the international competition among countries,areas is fierce and is shown as competition between the cities and competition between the urban agglomerations day by day.Promoting the urban competitiveness is a effective way to enhance the development strength of regional economy and international competitiveness of a country,so,the research on urban competitiveness become a popular topic.The domestic and foreign research on urban competitiveness is reviewed and prospected,and the research directions on urban competitiveness in the future are pointed out in this paper.
