| 摘 要： | 从认知语言学的角度,通过大量的语料,系统地对比分析空间维度词＂高＂在英汉两种语言中的隐喻投射。结果发现,英汉两种语言中＂高＂的隐喻投射主要集中在情感域、声音域、社会地位域、数量域、程度域、社会评价域和时间域。

| Abstract: | This paper,from the cognitive perspective,proceeds a systematic investigation of spatial dimensional term ＂high＂ in both English and Chinese based on language data.The research discovers that the metaphorical mappings of ＂high＂mainly cover the domain of emotion,sound,social status,degree,social evaluation and time. |
