纺织服装——转型在即

国际市场需求疲弱在短期内难有改善,加之国内经济增长不利因素增多,中国纺织品服装的出口增速或将继续回落。2011年1-11月,规模以上纺织企业工业增加值同比增长10.5%,增速较上半年提高0.6个百分点;纺织行业工业增加值占全国比重为5.7%,较上半年提高0.1个百分点;产销率97.7%,较上半年提高0.1个百分点。行业整体运行良好。

Textile and Garment Industry in Transformation

China’s textile and garment industry has grown at an average annual rate of more than 15% since it joined the WTO.The gross industrial output value of textile enterprises above designated size rose from RMB88 billion in early 2001 to above RMB470 billion in 2010,and is expected to exceed RMB5 trillion in 2011.Exports have been an important drive and profit source of the Chinese textile and garment industry.The export value of the industry rose from USD50 billion in early 2001 to USD206.5 billion in 2010.But the Chinese textile exports to the U.S.,the Euro zone and Japan dropped respectively by 3.76%,7.11% and 0.84% between January and November in 2011.The markets have become more and more competitive as other exporters tried to expand their shares.Meanwhile,the costs of labors,raw materials,environment and resources in China have kept rising.The credit has gotten tight.Under the pressure of these factors,China’s textile and garment export growth may slow down.The enterprises will have to get more boosts from their transformation and upgrading.
