| 摘 要： | 城市化是社会经济发展的必然趋势,加快我国城市化的发展,无疑是本世纪我国现代化建设的重点发展战略。新疆也将城市化作为社会发展的战略之一,本文结合改革开放以来新疆城市化的发展进程,探讨了新疆城市化的基本特征和规律,以期正确认识整个西部地区城市化的基本特征,从而为西部大开发中城市化发展战略的制定提供有价值的借鉴和参考。

| Abstract: | Urbanization is the trend for social development.To speed the urbanization of the cities in China is without doubt the key development strategy.The paper discusses the urbanization development process of Xinjiang since the opening-up by pointing out the basic characteristics and rules with a view to correctly understanding the characteristics of the economy in the whole western region and providing references for formulating rules governing urbanization development. |
