In 2020,China faced difficulties,fought COVID-19 decisively,resumed production orderly,and became the only major economy in the world to achieve positive economic growth.In 2020,infrastructure investment and real estate investment became the stabilizers of China's economic growth.Under conditions of shrinking global trade,exports achieved positive growth over the whole year,and consumption slowed down due to the decrease in employment,especially in the service industry,and the decline in the growth rate of residents'income.Looking forward to medium and long-term development,we should actively cultivate demand and create a new driving force for China's economic growth.In particular,we should start with four directions:to create a growth opportunity for China's economy by rebalancing economic geography;to update our industries through industry transfer;to ensure economic security by focusing on industry chains,energy and finance;to optimally supervise internet platforms.
