有这样一条公路,一路风情美景,一路惊喜发现,让你不知疲倦,只想一直在路上,只想让身体与灵魂一起在风景中飞翔。这条公路,便是加州一号公路。与印象中荒凉苍茫的“美国公路”不同,从北至南,加州一号公路连接着洛杉矶与旧金山两座城,沿着美国西海岸蜿蜒前进。

On the Way

State Route 1(SR 1),more often called Highway 1,is a state highway that runs along much of the Pacific coast of the U.S.state of California.It is famous for running along some of the most beautiful coastlines in the USA,leading to its designation as an All-American Road. Highway 1 does not run over the entire Pacific coastline of California.It starts at Interstate 5(1-5)near Dana Point in Orange County and runs north to U.S.Highway 101(US 101)near Leggett in Mendocino County.Highway 1 also at times runs concurrently with US 101.most notably through a 54-mile(87 km)stretch in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties,and across the Golden Gate Bridge.It also serves as a scenic alternative in several locations,and as a major thoroughfare in the Greater Los Angeles Area,the San Francisco Bay Area,and other coastal urban areas along its route. Highway 1 has several portions designated as either Pacific Coast Highway (PCH),Cabrillo Highway,Shoreline Highway,or Coast Highway.
