Strategy Choice and Behavior Path of Bank Internationalization

Proper strategy choice is an important precondition of bank internationalization.This paper sums up four strategy choices including stability strategy,growth strategy,retrenchment strategy and mixing strategy,analyzes their main characteristics,pros and cons and application conditions.Meanwhile,it also introduces five types of behavior paths of bank internationalization,and explores their path tracks and main characteristics,The existence of those paths are proved by the internationalization courses of several global banks during past 20 years.
