| 摘 要： | 推进都市圈的发展是加快工业化和城市化步伐的战略性举措，外围城市的快速发展对整个都市圈的建设成效显著。文章界定了都市圈及其外围城市的定义和特征，分析了都市圈发展对外围城市的影响，并阐述了都市圈外围城市的形成机制，同时对都市圈外围城市的发展提出了一系列策略。
