该文用系统功能语法中的人际意义对英文连续剧《越狱》中囚犯与狱管之间的对话进行分析。该文将语气、情态和其他实现人际意义的资源，如称呼语、禁忌语和咒骂语等与话语的语旨相结合进行分析。研究发现社会等级的差异在监狱中有充分体现，在犯人与狱管的对话中，狱管大量使用祈使句来行使权力和掌握话语权，这种不平等的权势关系还体现在单向的咒骂语和禁忌语、蔑视称呼语的使用上。犯人作为特殊人群，普遍具有反对管制的态度，因此在他们与狱管的对话中既体现了合作，又体现了隐性和显性的对抗。

Analysis on the Staff-inmate Converstaions——Interpersonal Meanings in Prisonbreak

This paper aims to study prisoners' conversations from the perspective of interpersonal meanings within the framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics.
