A large scale of government investment fueled Japan＇s economic recovery and high growth after World War II. The average growth rate of Japanese economy had been higher than that of other industrial countries until the bubble burst. Since the 1990s, the lowered efficiency had cast doubts on previous Japanese government investment policies. Nowadays according to domestic and international situation, the Chinese government has decided to start a large scale of government-invested projects. Japan＇s experience and lessons in its government investment may offer useful enlightenment for China.
