西南岩溶区石漠化防治现状及对策

论述以贵州为中心的西南岩溶石漠区地质环境的基本问题，以典型为例介绍了防治现状及其成就和存在的问题，文末对石漠化的研究与治理提出三项对策和建议。

Prevention and Control of Stony Desertification in Karst Area of South-west China:Status and Countermeasures

In the south-west region of China with Guizhou Province as a center,sur rounded by neighboring areas of Guangxi,Yunnan,Sichuan and Hu nan,there exists a large stretch of karst stony desert,which covers an area of500,000square kilo-meters.With one hundred million people liv ing in the region,its ecological environment is fragile and is deteriorating,result-ing in low pro ductivity and poverty,and limiting so cial and economic develop ment of the region.This paper discusses the ba-sic problems related to geologica environment of the region,introduces the situation and achievements of prevention and con-trol as well as existing problems,and puts forward three countermeasures and proposals for the study and permanent harness-ing of stony desertification.
