The sustainable development problem and corresponding strategy of resource-type cities in China

According to the analysis on the construction and development of resource-type cities in China, some problems are pointed out, such as the simple structure of the economy and industry, the shortage of reserved resources, the serious polluted environments, the weak competition ability and so on. The corresponding developing strategy are put also forward in this paper, such as making the developing plan of resource-type cities scientifically, building eco-cities, adjusting and optimizing the industrial structure, developing high and new technique industry, changing the economy method, developing circular economy, running the cities by new city-operating-conceptions, improving the competition ability, changing the government function and building the better development environments, etc.
