Suburban area has become one of the important tourist spots for recreation and vacation.The paper analyzes four key factors affecting suburban tourism,i.e.,the economic level of the city,the suburban environment,tourist attractions and service facilities,the recreation behaviors of city dwellers and their decision making.It proposes the trend of the spatial development trend,that with the adjustment of tourism demand,the spatial layout of suburban tourism eventually grows from the scattered state to the intensive state around cities.
