The UK is the biggest offshore wind country with abundant wind resource and advanced technology. Working together with industry, the government published a national offshore wind industry strategy in order to stimulate the development of the industry with stable and consistent policy. The paper studied the key points of UK offshore wind industry policy including providing market conifdence and demand visibility, building a competitive supply chain, supporting innovation, impelling the capital infusion, and building a highly skilled workforce.
