| 摘 要： | 《推锗员之死》是筻国戏剧家阿瑟·米勒最重要的戏剧之一。通过描写主人公威利，罗曼悲惨的一生揭露出当时的社会价值只是虚幻罢了。这部戏剧批判了芙国梦对于普通人来说只不过是水中月。除了社会原因。威利本身的性格缺陷也是导致其悲剧的主要原因。本文试图剖析威利的性格特点和形成他的这种性格的原因。

| Abstract: | Death of a Salesman is one of the most important dramas written by American dramatist Arthur Miller. It reveals illusion of the social values ofthat time through portraying tragic llfe d the main character, Willy Loman. This drama criticizes that American Dream is just the moon in water for commonpeople. It is flaw of Willy＇s characteristics that caused Willy＇s tragedy, besides the society of that time. This paper tries to analyze Willy＇s characteristics andprobe into reasons of such characteristics. |
