| 摘 要： | R＆D投入与经济增长是一个经济系统中相互作用的两个方面。文章利用1998—2007年西部各地区R＆D投入与经济增长（GDP）的年度数据,研究西部地区R＆D投入与经济增长之间的互动关系。实证研究结果表明,西部地区R＆D投入与经济增长之间存在长期稳定的关系（即协整关系）;同时,Granger因果关系检验也表明,R＆D投入和GDP之间存在双向因果关系,互相促进效应的显现存在不同的滞后期。 |

| Abstract: | R&D investment and economic growth are two aspects interaction in an economic system.An empirical study on the relationship between R&D investment and economic growth in Western China based on the related data collected from 1998 to 2007.The research concludes that the R&D Investment will have a durative effect on the economy growth,which has a strong dependence on R&D investment. |
