青岛成功获得世界杯帆船赛亚洲站举办权

“青岛成功申办2013、2014年世界杯帆船赛亚洲站比赛”近日成为最热门话题——青岛成功获得世界杯帆船赛亚洲站举力收，已成为2013、2014年世界杯帆船赛第四赛站举办地将分别于2013年10月12日至19日和2014年10月11日至18日举办两届世界杯帆船赛——意味着青岛与澳大利亚墨尔本、西班牙帕尔马和法国耶尔齐名，成为世界杯帆船赛举办地。

ISAF Sailing World Cup Will Be Held in Qingdao in 2013-2014

The ISAF Sailing World Cup is one of the important annual games held by the ISAF, which is equal in importance to the Olympic Games.The racing events of the ISAF Sailing World Cup are the same as those established for the Olympic Sailing Competition.The ISAF Sailing World Cup was launched in December 2008 in Australia and brought together the world’s leading Olympic sailors.Later,it has established competition legs in Europe and the USA. Every year,the competition is comprised of the racing events of many branch legs across the world.In the competitions held in 2009 and 2010,2000 sailors from 65 countries and regions participated in the racing events.Thus far,many famous international sailing cities such as s Melbourne,Australia,Miami,USA,Palma, Spain,Hyeres,France,Weymouth in the UK and Kiel in Germany have successively hosted this famous sailing competition. On October 12-19,2013 and October 11-18,2014,Qingdao will host two racing events of the ISAF Sailing World Cup,which marks a huge step forward for the ISAF Sailing World Cup.The sailing events will be held at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center.Like the other sailing cities across the world,Qingdao thus will become a venue for the ISAF Sailing World Cup.
