| 摘 要： | 《红字》是美国19世纪杰出的浪漫主义作家纳撒尼尔·霍桑的最佳代表作。这部小说充分诠释了霍桑的创作思想和意图。小说中的女主人公海丝特·白兰是异化的典型,她体现了当时社会条件下人的精神困境和生存困境;同时,她又通过自己的努力不断救赎自我,但是这种救赎在宗教意义上永远不会终结,是一条永恒的路。
