西部地区大开发十年来经济金融结构变迁研究——基于东、西部的一个比较分析

截至2009年,我国实施西部大开发已经整整十年。十年来,西部地区经济实力显著提升,经济结构不断趋于优化,金融业发挥了关键作用。但是,与东部地区相比,西部现实的差距依然很大。通过比较西部与东部、全国的主要经济金融指标,本文发现:西部开发十年来,西部大多数省份与东部的相对差距有所缩小,但绝对差距依然很大,有几个省份与全国的相对差距甚至在拉大,西部大开发任务依然艰巨。未来10年,是深入推进西部大开发承前启后的关键时期,金融业在西部大开发向纵深推进中要有更大作为。

Research on Economic and Financial Structure Evolution-Empirical Comparison between East and West China

The year of 2009 saw the tenth anniversary of the implementation of West China Development Strategy.Over the last decade,West China has made remarkable enhancement in economic growth and economic structure.However,West China still lags far behind East China.With a comparison of West,East,and national main economic and financial indicator,this paper finds that most provinces in West China have narrowed comparative gaps,but with widened absolute gaps with East China,and even some provinces have wider comparative gaps with national level.In West China economic system,monetary stock index is significantly lower than that of East China,hence a tough task for West China Development Strategy.The coming decade will be the key period for further advancing West China Development Strategy and financial sector should play a bigger role in it.
