| Abstract: | In his early childhood,MAO Dun witnessed the Chinese Bourgeois Revolution and the 1911 Revolution.He was an advocator of democracy and was opposed to feudal conventions.As a strong advocator of the May Fourth New Literature,he insisted that China should draw the experience from advanced literatures of the world and reform our feudal literature,and in the meantime,he introduced into China the modern thoughts. |
