A research on company governance of state-owned enterprises

The essense of the company governace is to build some mechanisms for coordinating the interests, avoiding risks and increasing the value. At presen, there are some factors that affect the company governance of Chinese state-owned enterprises, such as:the relationship between the government and the state-owned enterprises;the level of market development;the traditional culture;and the model of governing the managers. We should focus on perfecting the company governance gradually, and at the same time deepening the reform of the state-owned assets and the state-owned enterprises, to explore the ways of furthering the shareholding system, selecting the managers in accordance with the market principles, and advancing the cultural construction of the boad of directors with the democratic consciousness and the query spirit.
