英语专业新生英语学习信念调查

本文以安徽科技学院2011级英语专业的94名学生为研究对象,通过调查问卷分析了英语专业学生的英语学习信念。研究结果显示,英语专业的学生普遍具有较为科学的英语学习信念,母语依赖的信念在学生中逐渐减弱。然而,这其中也存在一些不足,如缺乏科学的学习方法的引导,缺乏持之以恒的精神以及明确学习目标的驱动。

A Survey of English Major Freshmen's Learning Beliefs

Ninety-four English major freshmen of Grade 2011 from Anhui Science and Technology University were surveyed by the questionnaire, which is for the investigation and analysis of English Majors＂ English learning be- liefs. Statistics showed that English major freshmen have more scientific beliefs about English learning, and the re- liance beliefs of native language in them are gradually weakening; On the other hand, they lack the method guid- ance of scientific learning, perseverant spirit and clear learning objectives and motivations. In addition, though freshmen realized the importance of spoken language, the level of students＇ oral English proficiency is not high.
