本文对企业知识存量内涵与特征进行了分析，从以人为载体、以物为载体、以组织结构为载体和以市场为载体四个层面，对企业知识存量的构成进行了分析，研究了企业知识存量与技术核心能力的关系，构建了它们之间的作用模型。在此基础上，本文将知识存量的增长分为知识吸收的知识存量增长方式和知识创造的知识存量增长方式，并比较了二者间的差异，阐述了这两种方式对企业技术核心能力提升的作用。
