凡勃伦的制度变迁理论解读

本文从方法、前提、定义和性质、制度起源与发展、制度变迁过程等几个方面归纳了凡勃伦的制度变迁理论，指出该理论的核心是将制度视为技术进步的阻力，制度变迁就是不断克服制度阻力的过程。从凡勃伦的制度变迁理论与新古典制度经济学的制度变迁理论的对比中，本文认为不存在前者替代后者的可能性，并粗略地提出了一个结合这两种理论的制度变迁分析思路。

The Interpretation of Veblen's Institution Shift Theory

The article sums up Thorstein Veblen's institution shift theory on the basis of the following components: methodology, premise, definition and character, the origin and development of institution, the process of institution shift, etc. It points out that the core of the theory is to view institution as the resistance of technological advance, and thus institution shift is a process of continuously overcoming resistance. Based upon the comparison between Thorstein Veblen's institution shift theory and that of New Institutional Economics, the article argues that it is not possible that the former can take the place of the latter, and roughly brings forward an analytical method combining the two kinds of theories.
