| 摘 要： | 本文对美国120多年来的银行国际化进程进行了分析。研究发现,美国的银行国际化成少败多,少数大型银行是国际化的主力。国际化战略和模式、重大的政治事件和经济周期对美国银行国际化的成败具有重要的影响。

| Abstract: | This paper makes a deep analysis on the internationalization of American banks between 1887 and 2007. Only several major banks played a key role in internationalization and finally survived. Finally, we should see that strategies, political events and economic cycle also have a significant impact on internationalization. |
