LIM Practice in Landscape Design of Chengdu Unicorn Island Start-up Area

This article demonstrates how Landscape Information Modeling (LIM) can be integrated into the professional practice of landscape architecture. Using Unicorn Island Start-up Area project in Chengdu as an example, advanced informational based digital technologies can be an instrumental tool in project management, technical design, collaboration, quality control, and construction documentation. From the implementation progress of Chengdu Unicorn Start-up Area, the paper discusses the professional practice status and necessity of Landscape Information Modeling.
