Abstract: | Summary and Conclusion Upon reflection, it appears that one of the major sources of N.S.’s difficulties is to be found in its poverty of skilled human resources, which can be seen in relationship to the occupational structure of its labor force. This was clearly brought out above in Table 3, which graphically displays the almost classic weaknesses of its labor force by occupation and industry-i.e., the suboptimal distribution of skilled manpower vis-à-vis unskilled labor. |
