Design of a Universal Communication Management Unit Based on Multiple PowerPC Processors

Communication Management Unit(CMU) is the most important part in data link network systems.Through studying the architecture of processor module which has abundant data interfaces and expansibility,a universal CMU method is designed.The proposal measures up with open interface standard,as well as guarantees the performance of multiple channel data transmission or switching.Through expanding and division,it can be applied to different projects to shorten development period and reduce develop ment cost.
