Chongqin science and technology development present situation and its strategy

The rapid development of Chongqing's economy and growing economic strength indicates Chongqing is becoming a new growth point of China's economy and western China's economic growth pole.In the western region development,sustainable development of Chongqing has laid a solid material foundation.Chongqing is located in the junction of the developed eastern region and resource-rich areas,which has a dual function of meeting and separation for the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the western economic zone.Its regional advantages to east and west makes Chongqing become the first choice in the western development strategy,Chongqing can lead the entire western region through the development to short the gap between rich coastal and poor inland and become an important strategic stronghold of practice"two situations".This paper based on the perspective of scientific and technological development,analysis of the development status of Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology,the achievements,problems and its strategic significance,revealing the need for scientific and technological innovation in Chongqing.
