| Abstract: | This paper firstly indicates the basic concept and function of the urban agglomeration, then points out the great influence on the cities which the spatial structure of the urban agglomeration has. In the following this paper introduces a new one from urban geographic space, urban size, urban functions and urban openness to investigate the spatial structure systematically. Finally, this paper applies this method to the spatial structure study of the Changjiang Delta urban agglomeration and guides the Nanjing development based on the study. |
