| Abstract: | This paper retrospect on the development of Beijing Institute of Urban Science, dividing its history as the phase of multiple disciplinary research on urban problems, the phase of synthetic study in multiple discipline and the phase of transferring to key fields from the synthetic study. The paper also summarizes the main academic outputs of Beijing Institute of Urban Science. |
