Social organizations play an important role in social management innovation,which is a significant pillar of the modern social management,the bearer of the transformation of government functions,the new vector of social integration,systematic channels for interests expression and a main force in building a harmonious society.There exists many problems in the current situation of the Jiaxing social organizations: number,scale,structure,fund,personnel,internal management and operation etc.,so they cannot be fit for the transformation of government functions and the needs of the social management innovation.Therefore,in order to promote the social organizations,it is urgent to change their ideas and accelerate the transformation of government functions,improve the social structure,increase financial input and policy support,protect employees’ rights,reform the management system,and enhance external supervision and internal self-discipline etc.
