Project Management Path of Low-carbon City Construction

With the increase of urbanization rate and the population in the cities,it becomes more and more urgent and important to construct the low-carbon cities.Because the traditional city construction management system and model are not effective,the strategic target of lowcarbon city construction is affected by many factors and constraints,the result is not ideal.As a method system for executing strategy,project management is easy to integrating and developing all kinds of resources,which could provide the diver of low-carbon city construction.Lowcarbon city construction is regarded as a complex project,the project management method and path are set up to build a low-carbon city in the paper,which make it clear and strong operable including stakeholders,scope,progress,cost and performance in low-carbon city construction. Finally,it suggests that Beijing should change the traditional mode,take the low-carbon city construction as a special project and execute projectized management method.
