购物场所公示语的汉英翻译研究

摘    要:公示语的英译是我国对外宣传以及世界了解中国的窗口,购物场所公示语的汉英翻译在社会发展和国际交流中都有重大意义。本文以功能翻译理论为指导,通过对公共标识语文本以及语用功能分析,利用大量的实例对中英双语公共标识语翻译中存在的问题进行分析,同时提出了一些可行的策略和翻译技巧,希望能对公示语翻译研究有些启示。

Abstract:Public sign is a good way for China's international cultural publicity and an important channel for overseas to gain a better understanding of China as a whole. Meanwhile, public signs translation in shopping centers plays an irreplaceable role in the social development and international community. Based on functionalist translation theory, the paper discusses the C-E translation of public signs from the perspective of functionalism. By analyzing the existing problems in C-E translation of public signs and their possible causality, some feasible strategies and technologies are proposed in hope of offering some clues to the research of C-E sign translation.
