| Abstract: | The current situation of China＇s sludge production was presented in this paper and the amount of sludge production was predicted during the ＂12 th Five-Year＂ plan. Main sludge treatment and disposal technologies used in China such as landfill, combustion, thermal drying, aerobic composting and lime drying were introduced. Sludge treatment and disposal policies recently issued were also presented. The investment demand of sludge treatment and disposal was predicted simply during the ＂12 th Five-Year＂ plan. |
