谈新形势下保卫工作的与时俱“变”

新世纪新阶段,人类社会面临的发展机遇前所未有,面对的挑战也前所未有。改革开放30多年,尤其是加入WTO以后,我国发生了翻天覆地的变化。但是我国正处于并将长期处于社会主义初级阶段,人民日益增长的物质文化需要同落后的社会生产之间的矛盾仍然是我国社会的主要矛盾,统筹兼顾各方面利益任务艰巨而繁重。因此,对保卫工作来说,如何与时俱变是一个崭新的课题,值得研究。

A Discussion on How to Assure the Security Work Change with the Times

In new situation,human society faces unprecedented development opportunity and challenges.Since over 30 years of reform and opening-up,especially after entering WTO,great changes have taken place in China.However,China is now in the primary stage of socialism and will remain so for a long time to come.The principal contradiction in our society is still one between the ever-growing material and cultural needs of the people and the backwardness of social production. Taking all-round interests into account is a strenuous and heavy task.Therefore,as to security work,how to change with the times is a new project deserving to study.
