Despite the fact that Japan has now turned to economic transformation and opening up to the outside world, the conservative influences in the country are still strong and prevalent enough to make opening up to the outside world something too bad for most people to imagine. It has been observed that the Japanese, on the one hand, wish that their economy could develop at a higher speed, but, on the other, are not ready to open their market to the rest of the world and are unwilling to give up their conventional mode of thought. They, therefore, have missed various good opportunities to boost their economy.
