摘 要: | 通过语域理论三元索:语场、语旨、语式分析,语域在大学英语ESP教学中有指导作用,培养学生在自己所学专业领域内恰当地使用语言,尤其是在增加他们专业词汇量方面效果明显。

Abstract: | Based on an analysis of the three dements of Register Theory, field, tenor and mode, register is of guiding importance in the teaching of ESP in College English. It is effective in training students to properly use language in their majors. It is especially useful in broadening their specialty glossary. |
