摘    要:
快速成形技术是20世纪80年代中期发展起来的一种全新制造技术,它适合各种生产类型,特别是单体小批量的模具生产,而且能适应各种复杂的模具制造。从快速成形技术的概念出发,阐述了用快速成形技术直接、间接制造金属模具和非金属模具的原理、工艺和研究现状,指出了它的进一步发展和推广必将对制造业产生巨大的影响。

Abstract:
Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing (RPM) is a newly rising manufacturing technology,which is developed at the middle of 1980s.It fits all kinds of manufacture,especially for single piece or small batch quantity.It can also fit all kinds of complex mould.This paper begins with the definition of RPM and introduces the principles and technigues in the direct and indirect fabrication of mental mould and non-mould.The paper also summarizes its application and points out that its further development will affect manufacture greatly.
