Financing Chapter 11 Companies in the 1990s

Affiliation:Vice President at Continental Bank, N.A. and currently directs the bank's efforts related to bankruptcy and reorganization financing opportunities. Since joining the bank in 1977, he has been involved on the commercial lending side of the bank as well as working with distressed assets. From 1984–88, Mark directed the administration of a portion of the corporate assets that were transferred to the FDIC when the bank was restructured.;C.P.A. and a partner in the firm of Policano &Manzo. The firm specializes in providing financial advisory services to troubled companies, their creditors, and other parties-in-interest in workouts and in bankruptcies. Mike and his partner Bob Manzo have worked in numerous troubled situations over the past nine years, including LTV, Allegheny International, Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Circle K, and Integrated Resources.
