Research on the Conflict and Coordination between Prior Trademarks and Geographical Indications

Presently, the number of applications for geographical indications has gradually increased with the increasing emphasis on geographical indications in China. The dispute between the prior trademarks and geographical indications has intensified, and the coordination is urgent. Through the analysis of related literatures, and the causes of conflicts between prior trademarks and geographical indications, proposing the applicable principles and coordination schemes of relevant contradictions, in order to provide an effective reference for the management of trademarks and geographical indications.
